Last week I baked and sold 12 pumpkin rolls! Mom is helping me figure out what it costs to make things, the best prices for ingredients, andhow much profit I'm earning. Last week I earned just over $3 per pumpkin roll. I'm thinking about different recipes to try. If you have suggestions, let me know! I have to think about how much different recipes cost to make and how much time is involved. Pumpkin rolls were sort of expensive because cream cheese and pumpkin are a little pricey. I thought about making whole wheat bread because it's really good and inexpensive to make, but it takes more time. There's lots to consider when I pick a recipe!
This week I'm going to make pumpkin bread. We found two recipes online that had lots of really good reviews and my mom made them both this morning for us to compare. We liked them both for different reason so I'm going to try to figure out how to make one better recipe. Let me know if you want to try a loaf!
